    Rumble in the car HELP!

When i go over 80 km/hr my car starts to rumble. i mean the whole car its seems like theirs an earthquake in my car ...
i just put on my summer rims on and everything was going fine yesterday, i was going 100 to 120 in the highway yesterday without it doing anything
but today it snowed and weather is bad and when i go 80 i start rumbling.
this happened when i put my steelies on back on December but the rumble eventually went away.
is the weather playing a role in this problem? or do i need to get something checked

How do you store your tires - inside or outside? Double checked the tire pressures?

Moisture inside the tires, suspension got hung up, or flat spotted tires could cause those issues. I've gotten the occasional tire that acted like it was out of balance then automagically fixed itself. Eventually it got it unmounted and there was a consideable amount of water in the tire.

balance your tires and see if that fixes the problem. what you described sounds like a classic unbalanced tire.

did you have snow packed into your wheel which was causing an unbalance?

And why were you going 120 again?

    oh yeh 120 km/hr

today i was going 80 then i started noticing it.
i think it was the snow on the lip or something.

Make sure you tightened the lug nuts properly, i know you think you got em on tight at first but then when you drive the car around around the block you gotta tighten them again.

if it was wheel bearings, normally you would hear noises while driving as well. or at least when you turn in one direction. but there have been those rare occasions where it doesn't make noise.

cant rule it out though. it could simply be bad and not completely fucked. bad enough to where it rumbles at certain speeds occasionally

A bad bearing usually doesn't cause unbalancing. It just makes a horrible scraping sound. The wheel does wobble from side to side, but it won't make car rumble.

well as moviestar said, you can't rule it out. it's been known to happen. but on very rare occasions.

it wont be too expensive to get one put in? rockauto has them for decent priced...100 to install. make sure the tires are well balanced too...i remember when this happened to me my wheel bearing was on its way out.
