dude, wasnt making fun of it. just wanted to know if its out when you drive. I have a bumper badger, the thing is hideous and it looks like a tub mat hanging from the rear of my car, but I put it away when Im using the car. and yeah, you are totally right about needing one around here. Drivers around are MORONS!

There was this one time when I went out to grab some food. I got into my car pulled out and saw some SUV not sure which model but i think it was an Acura. The driver crashed into some parked cars and drove off. I know my bumper guard will protect me from that but at least I know i'll be protected if they pull out of a spot.

I didn't like the look of the new Impreza at first.. but it grew on me after a while.

I would have gotten a used WRX wagon if I were you. They come in auto too if you can't drive stick.

Major sleeper status if you debadge it. :D

Thank you very much. The new Subie look does nothing for me. IMO nothing looks better than an 04-07 STI/WRX with wide A## tires/wheels and slammed. The new EVO X looks so good done up. I'll prob buy one after college.

impreza looks nice, especially the front. the back is kinda weird for me.

hey man, i've ask you this numerous times the forum but did you sold your "orange" Corolla in California? because i always see this hispanic guy driving a "orange" Corolla exactly like your car with fiberglassed body and stuff.

Well good thing with the auto shifter is that you can manually shift yourself. I was testing it out today.

^^^ IMO slapstick = fail. In most cars, the shifting is delayed and if you hit redline it shifts for you. Nothing like rowin through the gears of a true 6spd.

got to drive a Ferrari 430 with a flappy paddle gear box.. those shifted quite nicely..My friend's GT-R shifts quite nicely too. If Subaru had a shifter like that, I would consider

Ha, ha, at 85k plus, I hope they would shift nice. And they are meant to have a performance automatic gear box, the Impreza is just an everyday car that they decided to throw in slap stick. I drove a TL, Volvo and Mazda3 with slapstick and I hated them all.

Even the 370Z's 7-speed auto has lightning-fast shifts.... I test drove one a few months back.

Loads of fun sliding the car around!

nah, still nothing like having full control of the car with a manual IMO. I no that new automatics may be faster (370, GTR, etc), I just have much more fun shfting with a clutch and a true gear box. Its much better for road racing and AutoX IMO.

true, you can't kick the clutch when you have paddle shifters. true the traditional manual cars may be slower now but it does provide a certain sense of better control and ability to have more fun. With that said, I wish I had a manual. I haven't driven a manual in several years. i would probably stall the crap out of it if i tried to drive it now.

I guess the ass bra is better than the rubber guards that most people put on the corners of their bumper in NY. My uncle told me that one time he was parked and someone pushed his car onto the curb so they could fit, and then a cop gave him a parking ticket because his car was on the curb.
