    Final Fantasy XIII

I know some people here are playing it. What do you think of the battle system? It's entirely restricted until you get to the end of chapter 9. It's like a 20 hour tutorial. However, once you get complete freedom, it kicks ass. And just like the final fantasy's of the past, you have the ability to grind it out and level your characters like there's no tomorrow.

FFXI is a big waste of time to me. It's an MMO that is capped because of the PS2. The battle systems are slow and cumbersome. FFXIV better not be the same way.

13 on the xbox? Isn't that multi-discs? The quality is only slightly less on the 360, but it's the disc changing I won't live with.

A friend of mine got it one the xbox, and said it's a disgrace to play it on the xbox! and then got it on the ps3. The graphics on blue-ray is better than xbox.

Chapter 12 now. Chapter 11 is full of side quests and will take around 40 hours alone. lol

wow, that sounds very discouraging, :D. Picked it up, and I gotta say, this new system is quite confusing, and i am only on chapter 3.

Ive read people have been finishing it in a total of about 85 hours of play...and 100-150 hours for 100% of the achievements.

The creator made the first Final Fantasy as his do or die title and ironically it made money and launched it's own empire.
You'll get used to it, however, like I said, the first 10 chapters is a giant tutorial.
I'm at 60 hours now. I'm guessing another 30-40 to get my platinum.
