    It's one of my favorite tv shows... The phobias he has are funny as shit. He just can't help himself, even if he's being held at gunpoint he'll straighten the guy's sleeves. :)
    I can relate to some of the o.c.d. stuff he does.The more serious side of the show is well done I think. How the different characters interact with eachother and deal with the big issues in their lives. It's got a good feel to it. I've got season 2 on DVD. I want to get season 1. The new one had Jason Alexander from Seinfeld playing as the "oppsite" of monk. A very dirty sloppy detective. It was refreshing to see a different character from Jason, I was expecting "George".

    the show has gotten a couple Primetime emmy nominations.

    apparently alot of people are loving this show.. I personally don't watch it. but that's what I've heard.
