How do I adjust my headlights?

I own a 02 Corolla and I just changed my lights..one of them is a little lower then the other so I wanted to know the location of the adjustment screws to move them...

I have been looking at the light assembly and I see a three screws behind when the blub comes in are those it?

I would really like to know before I start loosening things I realy shouldn't.

Also any other tips on making this as painless as possible is welcome.

    THANKS!

first don't mess with the three screws behind the lense
Second locate atop the light assembly are a small screw and a bolt built in together. you will need either a torx or phillips screwdriver.
Turn right or left to desired position and correct the adjustment
find the legal marking or how i did be at knee height and make sure you have a full tank of gas and tires are properly filled with air pressure and vehicle is on level ground.

    they're not necessarily screws.

there should be two adjusters on the ends of the headlight, one inward toward the grill on the end of the headlight, it should look like an inverted gear sitting on a screw (look for something with teeth sitting on a screw attached to your headlight). That one adjusts horizontally. There's another one on the outer end of your headlight, toward the bottom and behind the assembly, this one adjusts vertically.

stick your phillips or large torx driver in there and turn (i forgot which direction goes which way), you'll see your beam move up and down.

I'd say if you've only got one, it only does vertical alignment.
