A little overkill for my taste but certainly custom and unique.... I would've done the spokes black and did the red striping in the middle of the spokes... Just me.

Never mind the bad editing, I was in a hurry, but I would have went different with the paint, either like this, with the red meeting the black at the bottom of the windows and along the hood/fender line, like this:

Or I would have had the paint line follow that little crease that goes along the car, kind of like this:

The rims seem more expensive than the whole car. I would just paint it one color and drop it.

yeah, those rims look great.... more than the cost of the car LOL. The paint I like, just needs a clear coat to make it OEM quality. Is the car lowered at all now? Maybe that's the next step :) The grille should be black.... and the red on the rims kinda throws off all the black down there, but overall nice and original :)

agreed.... a lip or body kit in a clean style would help... the rims look kinda big without one! But I still like it regardless :D

Looks good now drop it , but that grill needs to go put the stock toyota grill on it with the emblem and it will change that whole car :)

I think if you seriously put the stock grill back on leave it black your car will change in the front , For some reason with your color the grill looks way to big out of place .... Other then that like I said bro looks good :)

Paint is PRRRfect the way it is, dont you dare change it =]
and yes, like others have said, i think a clear coat is in order to match the rims.

Awesome job on your car dude! :D

Fitment issues but its okay. There is a very fine line between rice and unique and this is on the border.

I guess if you drop it and fix the fitment issues it might look better.

    EDIT:
I like the way it's painted now. If only the top, hood and trunk were painted, it will look like you wrecked and just changed those parts :D

    fender vents

The contrast between the sharp lines and shiny wheels and the softer look of the rest of the body makes it look uneven, unfinished IMO. Wheels by themselves or the car by itself looks pretty good, but together - it just doesn't seem to fit quite right. Don't know - maybe it looks completely different in person - as pics don't always carry that same information.

Definitely a unique look - so if you were going for that, you hit that on the head. The airbrush work on the tail is awesome, great flame detail there.

airbrush work looks great, the one good thing on it. something just looks off with the colors for some reason. maybe the black should have been on top?

It would look great if the whole car were black, not just the bottom half. Your rims and airbrush work will still complement each other.

yeah, he might be going for that look, but IMO it failed.... it doesn't look good that way. Flat black is only good on certain cars. The car itself has to be awesome by itself without the paint, then the flat adds to it. But on his car, it just looks cheap and unfinished. Especially with the rims and glossy lights.

You can think of it as a moral booster and advertisement for the Cardinals.

How is it a moral booster? We can look at it and be proud that our cars are shinier and it'll make us happier?
