Well i was going to put this in the WIN thread, however considering this is the first car from Australia being posted, i thought it deserved its own thread.

I saw this in the car park as i was driving into work, and i immediatly though of TRD.

Ford and Holden (general motors) are the two biggest competitors in the industry in Australia. The Ford Falcon, and Holden Commodore are constantly improving trying to get ahead of eachother. Yes. the cars do look alike.

Now here is the HSV Commodore. (commodore also known as the common whore here in Australia).

wow, we have those in the states in 2 door......theyre dubbed the pontiac GTO , which is one of the slowest overpriced POS's sold. its a fat corvette , to be honest , and i dont mean phat either.

if you wanna show us a real car , send us a few pics of a noble m12, or maybe a 1000hp diesel , australian land train.

Maybe you guys need glasses because it looks nothing like a GTO. The car is down under version of the G8.

both above post are right. now the g8 can be nice and quick if ordered correctly.

The G8 took over the GTO's place so they are basicly the same car with a face lift and new name. Just like the G5 is the cobalt and the G3 thats soon to be released is the same as an aveo

i gotta thank d matrix to really point it out that is a g8 and not a goat,g8 has three model base (3.6L V6 256HP),gt (6.0L V8 355HP) and gxp (6.2L V8 415HP).

not really both are made on same chassis so is the new camero its just the coupe version of the g8 chassis. the holdens are nutz 400+hp from the factory with superchargers. if u look on the back of that pick it says 325 thats how many hp it has the top one i think is like 425. check out top gear Australia, they go crazy for holdens. my fave is the yute aka possible new el cameno but i doubt well see it now with the way the economy is.

lol well we all just call them utes, no matter what company makes them. they may have an extra name like the Holden one tonner but the advertisement would still include the word ute.
and JDM, ill find a much better ute for you, lol theres about 4 in my street
