I want to drop my car more now after seeing these

BTCC Carina E. BUt they look like 7th gen Corolla's in the top 2 pics and a 8th gen 5 door in the last pic. They come with a 3sge, not sure if it's FF or FR.
Love the tucking up to the rims, and the best part NO rubbing.

it's FF. no need to make it FR because FF can hold their own when it come to grip.

Rubbing is caused by incorrect offset, not the drop. Just get the correct offset rims so the tires doesn't hit the fenders under full suspension compression.

I love the 3rd pic. But don't drop your car this low if its your daily driver. The suspension would have to be extremely stiff in order to prevent the bottom of your car from hitting the ground every time you hit a bump on the road. Then you would have "ricer bounce". :D

Well yeah I meant that there's no rubbing because these cars are are designed by the race teams to work properly this low. It's kind of interesting to me because the current btcc cars are low but don't tuck tires. And I just wasn't sure of the drive train because I looked it up and it said they came in both.

Well My coilover dropped all the way could probably tuck my tires no problems except for clearance issues, but I won't do it. I just like the look, I made this thread more to show those pictures.

How does dropping a car make it fast looking? Like adding airplane wings? Anyways.

Yep you miss the point of my thread. haha When did I say I have rubbing issues that prevent me from lowering my Corolla? I just pointed out the no rubbing, because lots of dropped(by lowering springs) Corolla's can't have any passengers because the rubbing.
The point of the thread was just wanted to show these cool ass cars, aren't they kind of inspiring? I should of just titled the thread, "Look at these cool as Toyota's," haha.

Why is the title of this thread: "I want to drop my car more now after seeing these" if you don't want to drop your car?

I think now you're referring to modification for the best application. Thsoe cars above lowered extremely low to cut down on air resistance and stability while on the track. Is it the same in traffic traffic and surface street conditions? I'll let you answer that one. Not all that looks cool is practical.

One of the downsides to being lowered that I've noticed is that no one really pays attention to you since you fall outside most people's viewable blindspots in a small car like the Corolla.

Damn, everybody is really grilling me now for this thread so i'll just answer this question. In a perfect world with smooth roads and glacis inclines, why not? But since I live in a place with deteriorating raods, negative.

That was sarcasm right? I just think it makes your car look more sleek and less grandma-car-ish.

Keep in mind no matter how much you lower it, a Corolla will still be a Corolla. it doesn't change anything. LOL It would be a lowered grandma car then. :)

That's where the 20v swap comes into play, haha. Nah ah it's not that bad. But I honestly think that a Corolla is the ONLY fwd Japanese sedan that I would ever own on purpose. Alot of people will diagree, but I'd rather driver a slow Toyota than a fast Honda/Acura.
