if you are a CS or engineering student and your school has msdnaa, you can get win 7 pro for free download.

that's what I did. IEEE members get access. ( like 2 months ago! LOL!)

Can you post a link? And what's msdnaa? I'm a Biomedical Engineering major and I'm not in IEEE, but they have a chapter at my school.

If you select the 'I need to connect to my university's network' option, they will give you 7 Pro. I got Windows 7 Pro x64 for $29.99. You may have to jump through a couple of hoops to install it (unless you're running Vista and can install from the installer), but it's fairly easy to turn their download into an ISO, burn the ISO to a DVD, then install.

I don't see where if gives you the option to connect to the university network. It only asks for your .edu email. And I believe they only give you Home Premium.

I thought that once you enter the email in and submit it, it says you're done? I'll have to look at it again then.
