Replacement Weatherstripping?

    Replacement Weatherstripping?

    As you all know the weather stripping doesn't last forever.. and i live in az so that kills it even faster but i haven't been able to find replacement ANYWHERE ... and the Toyota said they discontinued them .... so what do i do? HELP PLEASE!!

    dude, you don't need a replacement. all you need is a box cutter knife and a ruler. just cut out the peeling trim and you have a nice chrome weather stripper.

    There's a complete DIY thread archive about replacing weather stripping on here complete with replacement part ordering numbers. Do a quick search and it should come up.

    If it looks good, it's your opinion. Personally, I think that's ghetto as hell. :)

    thanks for the help on that molding ill use that ... but i need like the drip molding too ... or should i just leave them off?

    ya so you know what im talking about .... can you help on where to find it ? lol o and the back trim panel that has some rubber on it... its the panel thats behind the rear door.. you take them off from the inside ... i need new panels too can you help find them?

    I can't do that do my car being all black trim. I have the LE model with painted door panels.

    same here let me go look around the junk yard and see if theres any

    what does it feel like without the weather strip?

    so basically you only need the driver side and and the rear right?
