    Using a different OEM muffler

    I bought my a 00' Corolla used and it came with an OBX muffler. After a year I finally got tired of the noise, just because my car isn't fast, and ugly-ness. So want to change it to something oem but can't find a decently priced TRD muffler.

    So my question is, can I replace the OBX muffler with a Lexus OEM muffler without any problems? I think maybe an IS OEM muffler would look pretty good. Thanks.

    yea do it, I was going to use a IS300 stock muffler, even found a guy on my.is who was going to sell it to me. But I couldn't resist getting a TRD Japan catback so I flaked:p

    that was extactly what i was planning to do on my 240sx, similar to yours i "got" tired of the fart can and plus i'm still on KA24 so i wanna switch back to OEM too.

    haha, shoots um!! Probably won't be for a while though. Still keepin an eye out for a nice OEM Muffler.

    i bought the apexi muffler which is almost the same as the stock IS 300 muffler but with a meaner rumble. My friend usually parks with me, he drives an IS 300 and our tips are exactly the same
