    it was full of helium so shooting it wouldn't have been smart. Plus since the compartment was made of thin plywood, the kid would have been serverly injured. apparently by the time the parents saw it take off it was too late. Now its time to determine when and where he fell out.

    not really...the brother said the balloon was taking off...parents see it as an opportunity to get publicity. dont even look fro their other son at their own place. do you believe everything a 6yr old tells you? the dad is a failed reporter for cnn...and i didnt read up on the mom..but it just sounded like a publicity stunt.
