lol guys. its supposed to be trdforums tho... and as far as I know, supras are as TRD as it will get.

They should have built our engines to withstand (sp?) at least to 250 with stock block... Sigh. Oh the potentials...

Vortexx had closer to 300 when he was driving around at 18 lbs, motor didn't blow for I think 40 or 50k miles.

What in the hell did you do to get 150hp outta your Corolla.

Most I ever had 115hp and that with CAI, intake and pulleys.

Eventhough it is listed as 120hp, you only get 100-110 on the dyno. So yours has at most 110-115. It feels like more, thats why I love Toyota. :rule:

I believe it be possible for him to be at 18lbs all day, but that does not mean he actually attains 18psi everytime he drives.

The boost controller is probably set to 18psi MAX but, under normal driving conditions, he probably does not use all 18psi. Unless his normal driving conditions are time-attacks to and from work.

^ O, I did not know that very important piece of information. If he lasted 40-50k with WOT'ing even half the span of that, that's pretty good IMO. Was he on stock everything block?

But I get more power, better fuel economy and a more comfortable ride. :Ewned:

The SI gets the oooomph after 6K til 9K.

    I get a small oooomph after 3,500 to 7,200

hmm. every corolla is different. I dont think vortex had a 4ag or is yours a 4af?

Maybe if you had it in 10psi max it would have lasted longer. but then you would probably only be pushing 160 in the wheels.
