That website and article is so bunk! KFC can't use the word chicken? You go on to their site and the first word you see is "Chicken" also the featherless chickens have a contagious disease that causes these chickens to lose their feathers. Its contagious to all birds therefore they are usually confined to one area and not allowed to have any contact with other animals. Since the disease cannot be transmitted to humans, humans are prefectly welcome to touch them, although many who see them for the first time are scared. This disease usually causes the chickens to live for only 3 years or so too although there are some cases where they are living a full life in rare cases.

Actually I stand corrected. Although I have seen chickens with this disease which is called Psittacine beak and feather disease (PBFD) but supposedly the incident that I saw was a very rare case. I guess this featherless chickens are just a breed of chickens. About 8 years ago, scientists in isreal began breeding these chickens which were featherless. They have not been genetically modified but rather evolved to the point where they didn't need feathers and they just singled out the chickens and bread them to what they are today. Many decades back, these "broiler chickens" were fed constantly to achieve faster growth which also caused them to produce more body heat. That caused the chicken to not need feathers and they began to fall off until they evolved into not needing feathers anymore. However conspirators took this info and began a rumor about genetic modification and stuff.

The only thing I can confirm in that article as a skeptic is that the chickens are indeed genetically modified but that is mainly to help the chickens grow a little faster and keep the chickens are catching any diseases. If you think that is bad, then well we are eating these genetically modified foods and injecting ourselves with vaccines and that is basically the same thing.

Another interesting fact besides MSG in everything when you eat out. The typical food you order outside has roughly 3 times the sodium you consume if you were eat at home. MSG, transfats, and high sodium diets... Brain, liver, kidneys, heart, you name it, are all abused everytime you eat out, particularly high sodium and transfats paired together. That just reeks heart disease in itself.
