    let's see...

IAC Hawk 12ga pump (it's "tacticool")
    Stoeger 12ga coach gun
    1937 Mauser
    2 AR15s...one with a 16" barrel, one with a 20" (whenever Del-Ton gets our uppers to us...)
    1911 in .45
Bersa Firestorm .380 and a Beretta .380 that's older than me

in the works, to be purchased before the end of the year:
Mossberg 500 for me and Mossberg ... something ... for the Boy
Marlin .22 bolt action for me, Ruger 10/22 for the Boy
possibly a K or J frame for me, CZ 85 for the Boy

in the works for next year:
1911 for me, semi auto Mossberg (whatever their newest one is...) for the Boy...and that might be it for awhile. he wants an Enfield, so i might get that for him in another year or two if he hasn't bought it yet.

already looked into it, id also have to replace the barrel the way it is put together, and by the time i get a new magazine tube/barrel it will equal the cost of the 8 shot version ;)

Would you need a longer barrel? What capacity do you have now?

My 870 holds five or six...I want an 18.5" smoothbore barrel with rifle sights and a 7rd extension- should bring the magazine tube just about even with the barrel, and the gun would be a bit more maneuverable.

my barrel is 16.5 inches (just measured), and the 8-shot is 20 inches. Mine holds 6, 5+1. You can see in the picture the magazine tube is about 3" short from being flush with the barrel so i was trying see if there was a magazine extender available for my model just so it looks more flush and smooth. not a huge deal though.

16.5" would qualify as an SBR & not permitted for typical over-the-counter retail sale. I'm guessing it's an 18.5". :)

after re-measuring it i realized that i suck at measuring =] it is 18.5" lol. my ruler has that stupid inch of excess before it actually starts which accounts for the 2 missing inches =]

hmm interesting thread. when fighting zombies i would recomend a medium range weapon like a .45 a 9mm and a shotgun. automatic rifles are a waste of ammo cus you wont hit shit. swords machetes and chainsaws r ok but you have to get really close and you might get splatter in your mouth or nose or an open wound. i have the zombie survival handguide, read it!! i had the link to it in a pdf file but its on my other pc. best thing to do is go live in walmart.

That's what a gunman near my area did when he had a shootout with cops. He hid in the Walmart gun section for ammo. He camped out behind the counter kiosk, until SWAT came in.

Yeah, it was a very random occurrence considering my town WAS considered one of the safest in California. We had a very low crime rate. Not anymore because of that.
