ricer bounce and the term ricer

Wow, "ricer bounce." are you people serious? Does everything in this world look like a plate of rice to you?

What part of "a ricer is a PERSON, not a car can you people not understand?"

Every little thing that looks better than you, you start shouting RICER RICER RICER, ignorantly. What the hell is a ricer bounce? It's just an undesirable bounce, no need for the f-ing ricer in there.

"Ricer bounce" is that boat like motion when the spring rate isn't dampened enough by the shock. It's just a term.

    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ricer
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rice
That defines a ricer and the rice they drive.

Perhaps the term should be changed to "rice bounce". Any better?

    Here's a saying I'd like to share:
"It doesn't get ricier than this. Riceroni, Uncle Ben's Converted Rice, and Minute Rice put together have less rice than this car."

Those who have been in aftermarket auto scene for a while have developed a certain standard to avoid rice which has been around for quite a while. Form follows function. And if it doesn't, it's rice. Or at the least, please make it look clean.

    Bongo can go "f**k" himself.

Most of the people on this site have half the stuff urban dictionary points out. We can't read your minds and tell what reason you added clear lights, expensive wed sport racing wheels, super rare and super expensive trd kits, Cold air intakes, Short Rams, fart cans, and so on. You don't see everyone saying this is a rollarice site, do you? Stop propagating American ignorance. That term is offensive to all non Americans and all Americans that own an imported car with ANY modifications, functional or not.

Half of you have lowering springs with stock struts and come on here pretending and pointing fingers.

Why can't you understand that every modified import has been "riced" in one way or another. If the starter of this thread had all the money at once do you think he would be on here asking random people about Tokico's illuminas?
He would just buy and replace if he didn't like it.

If you know the answer, just answer and don't go saying prevent ricer bounce like you know shit.

If anyone knows their shit it's JspeXAE102. Read the thread, his suspension alone is probably worth more than your entire car. Like I said earlier, stop talking or put on your flame suit.

    The works.

    Poly bushings
    endlinks
custom cv boot capable of handling 400hp
swaybars, makes the back 330% stronger than corolla s. Available through eBay.
hp struts/springs, custom steel strut mounts, boots
    camber kit
    rear tower strut bar
    front tower strut bar
track elliptical slotted rotors, by ATE.
    hawk hps pads
rear conversion, done by mechanic, with same size rotors and pads on back.
TRD racing steering wheel, with racing quick release.
Modified the steering ratio to maximum.
500cc hks fuel injector with rail from amsperformance, seeing as i live in chicagoarea I stop by sometimes.
Full custom high torque exhaust system for lower range, you do lose like 5HP, but gain about double that in torque.
    Greddy e-mange

Way too many to list. I have them sitting in storage doing nothing.
I haven't installed any engine mods yet, because current engine is bad.
No bodykit yet, because I am torn, don't know what i want yet.
    I NEED BREMBO CALIPERS, haha.

I know this question was asked to pick out something to use to call me names. Don't bother I won't reply if you do it.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any specific use for this car or are you just randomly upgrading things? I know you didn't list everything but I guess I don't see the logic in some of what i believe to be unnecessary upgrades if you have a specific purpose for this car.

Some American Cars are SWEEEEET! I would love to to ride in an old school cadillac or mustang, camero, etc. Ford GT... SWEEEEEET! Even the Ford Mondeo (although not in the states) is SWEEEEEET! I used to own a buick and though very unpractical, the back seats were extremely comfortable and with dark tinted windows... well lets just say I had a SWEEEEEET time.

I know where the term "ricer" originated but very rarely do I see an actual "ricer". I see a lot of "ricer" wannabe's but those are boring to me. The term ricer is too broadly used now. no more fun.

I think you're also being a little ignorant. I am definitely not one of those with lowering springs on stock struts. I don't see how you can take the term so personally unless you're so insecure about your own ideals. You live and let live. Don't take everything so seriously. So what if we say something is ricy or not. Just don't let it get to you. It's our own opinion of speech; our prerogative. You can your own. We just all respect each others opinions. And I don't think being relatively new the forum and starting drama and bashing others is a very intelligent thing to do.

    /rant off...

I've driven some great American cars and I've driven some pretty bad American cars. I'd have to say the Mustang is a sick car to roll in. Plenty of power and you can look cool in it. haha The worst American car I've driven would have to the the PT Cruiser. Everything about it pissed me off. I ranted about that in a thread long ago. Over 30 mpg my ass. LOL
