    painted lip!

i finallllly painted my lip and i gotta say it looks much better now that the curves are camouflaged into the bumper and looks less out of place.. pics in the morning :)

Also, does anyone have any tips on rolling the rear fenders? it rubs really badly now and its taking chunks of rubber out of my tires...

can't wait to see the pics. told you it would look a lot better painted.

there are tutorials on youtube. its up to you on what method. some do it with a rubber mallet and their hand on the other side, some use a baseball bat, but the best way to do it would be to rent a fender roller.

Im thinking eventually the lip will fade and or get scratched to match the rest of my bumper :D, although im having everything repainted next week, oh well.

    LMFAO!!!!

But regardless you have a silver car, that lip will never match in color just because of the color. When I got my TRD lips painted, the guy re-sprayed the bottom half of the car to match but then it wouldn't blend so he sprayed some more. Long story short I had to get an entire re-spray to have the silver blend and match. Silver = Impossible to blend.

im thinking to paint the side mirrors the same color, since its not too close to anything else silver, so it wont be too obvious it dont match.

eh, i just noticed, why the hell do we still have our x-mas lights up...

i would leave the side mirror as is because if do you gotta do the all door handles and if you still have your side molding put it back on and leave it black be alittle different from others and as for the lip it looks much better.

with the tinted windows i would look at blacking out everything inside the moldings instead of painting the mirrors. just a thought but I told you painting the lip would look a lot better

Im not good at paint and dont have photoshop but I figured this would give you an idea of what im talking about.
