    Got a ticket, kinda pissed

Just if anyones wondering, I live in Boise, Idaho.

But anyway, I was driving home today, and my room mate suddenly asked if we could stop by and see a car he was interested in, and the exit was coming up pretty quick, so I got into the middle lane from the far left lane, going 55MPH, which was the Set MPH on this stretch of highway. There was a guy that wouldn't let me get into the right lane, no matter what I did, I slowed down, and then he slowed down, and i couldn't get over. I think the guy was just being an Ass, or he just didn't know what he was doing, so at about 100 yards before the Exit, I WOT'ed it and passed him and got over to the right, going about 65 so I could pass him, and there was a Motocycle cop just sitting on the off ramp, and pulled me over. He said I was going 67 in a 55 and I was driving aggressive. I told him what happened, and he didn't give a rats ass. The ticket is only 75, but I have been trying not to get pulled over, using my cruise control whenever I can. Not speed AT ALL. Because I already had 2 tickets in 2 years, and now I have 3 tickets in 3 years. I am very upset about this :(

    Anyway, thanks for listening :)

In Miami the cops say "Speeding tickets have doubled because the economy is bad". Its about 225-350 depending how fast you're going

you might want to look into the laws about what it says about passing. each state has different laws.

i heard bubba talking about that violation costs doubling so that they can bring in money. he got a ticket a few weeks ago and it would have been in the $200 range 3 months ago, but now it's in the $400 range.

Besides the two tickets stated above i have been pulled over by cops about another 3 times because of my exhaust, they tell you to pop the hood to see if you have any illegal parts under the hood. And gave me a fix it ticket cause i had an intake that had no c.a.r.b number on it and had to go to a state ref. to get my car smog twice. " illegal emission devise" something like that. its retarded here in California. Everything you put in your car has to have a c.a.r.b or e.o number. INSANE!!!!! Has this happened to anyone else??? bunch of dumb ass cops and they also told me i had illegal header when they where looking at my intake manifold. Had to correct those retards. They don't know anything when it comes to cars. I was like " why would my intake hook up to the header??? You should had seen the look on their retarded ass faces. He had already written the fix it ticket after i corrected them he ripped it i pieces and let me go. Bastards!!!!!

There are certain cities I stay out of in cali when driving my car.. San Jose is one of them.

BTW your Weapon R is CARB exempt, go to Weapon-R headquarters in So. SF and pick up a CARB EO sticker.

thats the reason alot of honda/acura owner buy aem intake or injen intake because they are carb legal and visible on the intake pipe so when cops pulled them over they have to worry about anything.

Since your friend was the one who wanted to go see this car, have him pay for the ticket or at least half. And next time, just don't do that, take the next exit and just turn around.

Wasting a little more gas is better than paying a 75.00 ticket and having points on your license.

Its more than just the fact that it is only $75. It affects insurance. I am trying to get on with state farm who is usually cheaper around here, and you have to have a completely clean record for 3 years.

    Fight your ticket.

    Look up ticket asassin

    Something like that.

I fought 3 tickets and I won all three. I also help a couple of friends fight 3-4 tickets and won those as well.

Good thing is that 80% you don't need to show up in court.

i believe it because it's the law and you broke it by painting over the reflector and tail light.

that's the law in california. they have the emissions are the worst in there so everything has to be submitted to testing.

exactly, it only "works" as long as the attorney representing you knows what they are doing.

usually these paralegal services charge between 2 or 3 times the price of the ticket in order to fight it.
