You cant, technically u can but dont, i have 17's and they rub when i turn, i know someone on the forums has 18s but they look terrible.

Yups you can, but, it's really not a good idea. Even 16's rub if you dont' get the right size tires. For one the stock suspension isn't stiff enough to prevent bouncing. Also no matter what your front tires are probably going to rub when turning a certain amount. 18' are do-able but it'll cause problems.

I'm not sure I think it's just diffrence in brand. Because I have 205/40/16 Federals in the rear and 205/40/16 Dirrezzas in the front but the Dirrezzas are much skinnier. And when I had the Federals in the front they rubbed the inside of the wheel well if I turned all the way on a bumby surface. And also I had to roll the rear fenders because the Federals rub on stock shocks if there is enough weight over bumps.

If you have 16" rims, you should run 205/45/16.

I have 18s 215/35/18 on a lowered Corolla. They don't look all that bad. I'll upload some pics on friday for you.

I just think anything over 16 is too big in order to match the stock overall diameter. And if you don't, the wheel and tire is bigger and you can't lower it as much and it ends up looking like an SUV. Unless you really tuck it.

18's is good if you have a bodykit,if not go 16 or 15

If the body kit fills out the car, then yes it would match. But most body kits look grotesquely ricy.

depends on the brand and i think cheap rims crack easy,i had 18's with thin tire and i havent had any problem even though i had a flat tire on the driver front tire and i had to drive about 5miles with a flat to a gas station with no crack rims or maybe just because i had racing hart c5.

I have 15 and when bumping I scrub at times, lol. had to pull front fenders and hammer the well inside the rear one. (one side was bumping, but not the other)

i wont go over 15 on a corolla lol

It's fine if your area has smooth roads and you never have to go out of town. I could never use a low profile tire because Los Angeles roads are super shitty. I encounter potholes and crumbling asphalt every day.

Main reason why my TRD's aren't going back on this summer. Going to be rolling around on some shit 14's that I have. Regardless my engine is toast so no point really.

Atlanta has it's share of potholes, but 95% of the roads here are pretty smooth. You have to drive highway to get to 70% of the places you need to go anyways in this goofy city.

Here near LA, you have to drive everywhere to get anywhere. It's too spread out.

my 17s scrape if I turn too hard, or if I have a full car of people... not really fun or plesant when you hear that dreaded noise..
