Engine intake troubles

intake troubles

So i bought a cold air intake for my car that was for 03 and 04 corollas, not knowing there was a change i bought it for my 05, the difference is the small tube that needs to connect to the intake, and there is no port/hole for it, so im stuck with either selling it but i dont wanna go throught the process of ordering and waiting for one again, and the other option was to put the whole into the intake myself, has anyone done this before, and did it turn out ok?
