    Audio questions

I got a 2001 corolla and was wondering what kind of speakers you have in your cars, i was thinking of getting a pair of infinity 6" kappas in the front and a pair of JL Audio speakers for the back like 6 1/2" would both of these speakers fit without any drilling or do i have to cut a bigger whole in my front door? Also would you just cut the wire and run it to the new speakers or does the plug on the stock speakers work for the new ones?

6.5" work in front and rear.

Kinda annoying because for the front door you have to:

-drill out the rivets that hold the speaker in (and thus use new self-tapping screws to put the new speaker in)

    AND

-cut the old speaker out of the bracket and then you can mount the new speaker into the bracket

Crutchfield.com have speaker adapters to swap out small front speakers to 6.5" size, especially harness connectors for speakers.

I find that mixing and matching speaker brands more often than not gets bad results

stick with one brand that suit your needs the best.

    IDK,

In the 10th gen I would probably go for RF highs in front and PolkAudio lows in the rear.
