For interests of 03+ Corolla owners and XRS owners

Well check it out, I thought this might interest a few in here http://vvti.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9573.

It's a short discussion about GREDDY making exhausts for the 03+ Rollas but they need demand. They already have one for the XRS out but it's not compatible for the 03+ Rolla.

That's a good find. Weird that they only made it for the xrs.

Everybody knows that the regular Corollas are more popular and more powerful when tuned than the heavy XRS, GReddy is stupid on not making performance parts for our Corollas

Xrs isn't that much heavier than you model..And you can tune an Xrs just as well as your car.. What are you talking about???

are you guys absolutely positive a XRS catback woulden't fit on a CE, LE, S? I mean Greddy has a catback that specify Solara V6 but they have been found to fit on I4's as well.

well the XRS comes with an entirely different motor which is the Celica motor and well u kno maybe that has something to do with it as for the fitment of the exhaust

yea but the possibility shouldn't be ruled out until someone actually try it. I mean the I4 and V6 engines on the solaras are very different as well but exhaust pipe routing is the exact same after the catalic converter.. and I think there would be a large chance that the cat would sit in the exact same place on the chassis with the XRS and CE/LE/S

however the diameter are larger than it supposed to be tho, 60mm is like 2.36" if I remember correctly.

all 03+ corolla axle-backs (includes Greddy) fit both base and XRS models. and the comment about popularity and performance of BASE corolla's has to be the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. for the amount of money you'd have to add to equal the perfomance and handling of the XRS, we could invest into the same sort of tuning, and still be untouchable. isn't sad when a boosted car racing an unpopular NA is still considered a drivers race?
