    SlowRolla version 2.0...not so slow

Well its official. I brought home a new car last night. Its a 1994 Corolla with a 7AGE. The price was to good to turn down and it was pretty much the same price, if not less than what I would have paid to do my swap. Also, the best part is, it was built the guy that was going to do my swap, a member of the forums, TE31Rolla a few years ago. The man definitely knows his stuff. Let me tell ya, this car hauls ass.

    7AFE Block
Big port head with gasket match port job
MR2 Bigport intake manifold port matched to head(TVIS eliminated)
Head shaved for more compression and valve job
    0.8mm HKS headgasket
    Toyota Headbolts(New)
    Porsche 944 timing belt
    4-2-1 TNT Tuning header
2 1/4" header back exhaust with (real)Apex-i N1 Built by TNT Tuning
    4AGZE injectors
    Microtech LT8 EMS
    ACT Stage 2 clutch
    Resurfaced 7A flywheel wheel
    Gator Axles
AE92 GTS trans with 4.30 gear and LSD

    Here are some pics:

The dyno was done 6 years ago when the car was originally put together, so chances of me still having a piece of paper from 6years ago are slim.

    of course

so youre telling me that a 1.8 liter with ~10:1 compression and a head design that is 25 years old makes 169whp?

will the new owner PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dyno this car in at least 3rd gear to see how much power its really making? please...

What is wrong, are you also one of the people that think a 4AG or 7AGE cant make power?

i know they can make power, ive been building them since 02... but not that much only using stock parts and an intake and exhaust.

hopefully the new owner will dyno. im willing to bet that this wont make more than 150whp.

Since 02 huh, well if you wanna compare who has been doing it longer. I have been messing with the 4AGs since 93 aswell as a bunch of other motors, but the 4AGs have always had my attention. I know for a fact the new owner will get it dynoed, but I am not going to push him to do it or anything. When he is ready I know he will do it, its his car now and I have no say in it. The only thing I will be doing his helping him out when he needs it since I am the person that originally put it together.

Also, how much you willing to bet?:D

your "reputation" you are touting as a builder is enough for me.

i cant wait to see this thing belt out 145~150whp... and with the 4.30 final and all that "power" please do it in 4th, like it is supposed to be done.

Someone said the same thing 6 years ago before we got it on the dyno, and he ate his words when he was there at the dyno session. All I expect is an apology;) But I dont think you can even handle that.

oh yeah, btw, looks like a hell of a car.

i wont be holding my breath.

unless you did massive headwork, bumped compression to ~12:1, and have some wicked cams in there it wont make 169whp in a 4th gear pull.

youre either a liar, or youre holding out on the mods.

I dont lie, I am up front with everybody. Headwork is right, but nothing "massive". Is it really bothering you that it makes that power? How about this, I give you the shops number that dynoed the car and you can speak directly to the tuner that dynoed it. Would that make you happy? I will give you his name and number.

Here are a couple of pics from earlier. I didnt really get a chance to wash it, just spray it with some degreaser to get all the nasty shit off the car. Ill have to wait to actually wash it til Thursday, but it alreadly looks 100% better than it did. Also, dont mind the front wheels, the ones that came on the car were bald so we switched them out so I could drive it home safely.

    Yep.

    I do, interested in it?

Dyno will be soon, gotta get the car tagged and then get it re-tuned. As for the body kit, its on the red car, except the bumper, which is sitting just out of view in the garage. The rims are on my 05 Lancer right now.
