    FastRolla96 engine update...

So.....FastRolla96 got his engine put in and had it up n running either today or yesterday night...well....i talked to him on the phone just now he was like yea, they used the transmission from my old engine and put it on the new one....he drove it all day today and it was doing fine...just earlier, they wanted to test drive it against his girlfriend's VW Bug to see how well the engine performs....so he floored it and the engine hesitated a little bit and took off....it was okay....but then from that point on it was downhill....he told me that everytime he accelerated after that in normal driving, the transmission would start to slip as if it wasnt catching....and then the dreaded sound of pushing the gas pedal and hearing you engine rev as if its in neutral even tho its in drive.....thats right, he blew his transmission....unbelieveable....

very funny guys, what ever I use my money on, trust me I did it for a good cause. BTW I talked to my parents about it, and since I work for the shop now, I'm going ahead and do a 5spd manual swap to the car. I fried the tranny and I'm just gonna pay for the parts cause I'm gonna install it with my boss. Also the land he uses for the shop had a firework stand and basically had alot of left overs and I ended up taking home 4 grand worth of fireworks. I filled up my dad's lexus suv with them.

Man after all these problems I've encountered, I don't recommend 4age and 3sgte swaps for you guys who has little knowledge about those kinds of things. Its gonna be hard as hell to find parts from japan and stuff if you break something, and if you gonna do swaps, make sure your financially stable. You'll end up spending more money in the long run. What my thing is now that I already got a built motor thats strong, I'm gonna get a strong 5spd tranny and get performance clutch and flywheel for it. All I know is my car is gonna be faster then dropping in a 4age and more reliable then putting a turbo before all my problems on a stock motor. I'm glad I encountered these things cause I can now plan on doing a strong, but reliable corolla.

eh plus I dk I might even just keep my current rolla and just work on that since my pay went up and things financially are looking better, but that Corolla is a steal under 1,000 bucks runs perfect only things that suck is that only power steering and AT lol, but I could work with the manual windows and the locks no biggie lol

lol...for only 1,000 that's pretty good considering the only things that are wrong is the power steering and the AT. Plus you can loss some weight cranking the windows lol.
