    Here's a thought

Assuming you could find one, how hard would it be to shoehorn a 1ZZ out of a Lotus Elise into a 8-gen Rolla?

I would think for the minimal gains in hp combined with the issues with the MR layout, why not swap in a celica GTS engine/tranny instead? Plus, its been done by Dr. Tweak.

I've thought of a 2zz swap before but modding a 2zz is too expensive. Mods for the 3S or 4AG are much cheaper than 2zz parts

I think it would be worth it if you could get the supercharged 2zz from the Exige. I think it has 230-240 hp. That would be awesome. But for the cost, probably better to get another car.

It's not that bad but it is complicated due to lack of space. I would mind owning a lotus or an MR2. Some one was selling a silver lotus for $31,000 w/ 17K on the clock months ago in my area.
