    Lowering and shocks

I know if i lower my car i will eventually have to get new shocks. So two questions:

    1. What are some good recommended shocks for lowerd cars?
    2. How much of a drop can I get away with w/o replacing the stock shocks?

    i'm thinking
    TRD (1.25 drop)
    HR Sport (1.25 drop))
Maybe Hotckis (1.75 front, 1.5 rear)

    Thanks in advance

TRD springs will last longer with stock struts than any other brand. I'm on Hotchkis springs right now and have probably lasted 8 or so months without any dramatic changes.

You could also opt for the TRD Sportivo set which are a spring and strut combo.

I would say for the corolla though, Koni yellows are a good choice with aftermarket springs. You can get away with using aftermarket springs, the question is how long though.
