FOG LIGHTS WORK ALL THE TIME.....

    FOG LIGHTS WORK ALL THE TIME.....

    DOES ANY BODY KNOW HOW TO DO THIS? COROLLA PARTS DATA BASE HAD THE INFO BUT THEY SWITCHED TO VVTI.NET BEFORE I COULD GET IT AND ITS NOT ON THAT WEB SIGHT. Sorry about all the caps, by the time i looked up i noticed them. :oops:

    You cut the Green / Orange wire at pin 4 of the DRL relay, then you ground the first peice that would go into the DRL relay to a bolt (I used the screw that holds the DRL relay as the ground). Then tape off the second peice coming out of the DRL relay. That's it. Very similar to the DRL disable ground method (grounding the yellow wire). Remember, before you start, disconnect the negative terminal on the battery.

    Remember to always turn off you fog light switch. They will remain on even without the key in the ignition. Squirlmaster recommended to wire the cable to the cig lighter/outlet power source. That way the fogs will turn off when you turn off the car, I have not tried this though....

    theres also another method that will cut off the fogs when you cut the engine...

    but your DRL box cant be the newer one

    yeah ive left my fogs on and now keep a jump pack with me at all times.

    If I'm not mistaken, is that the method that you tie directly into the parking lights? I heard that there were problems with that method the last time I checked.... Or maybe I am thinking of something else hmmm...

    thats what i was talking about but wont work with the FIRST MODEL corollas (2003 rollas made in 02) becuase of the first generation DRL box.
