2003 recall..you read it here first?

go to the kelly blue book page. www.kbb.com and after identifing you have a 2003 toyota corolla you find out there is a recall. Campaign no# 02V074001 ,on the powertrain: axle assembly. Recall date march 7 2002(?). Number of unit affected 8483. This is all found from the recall link on the home page...see ya'll in the dealer. Has ANYBODY heard this from the dealers? I sure as heaven ain't....

i actually was contacted by mail by the dealer to set up an appointment so they could fix the issue free of charge.

That recall was three years ago and only affected the first few corollas off the line. Some rear axle bolts were not tightened sufficiently at the factory. Toyota took that recall pretty seriously as I recall.

Yep, that's a very old recall. I asked my dealership about my car, and it didn't effect me.

so since i bought my car in late march of 02 it was probably already adressed right?
