    SUGGESTION ON MY PROJECT

hey... i have a 2005 grey altis S and i am startin to work on my car. heres is what i had in mind. any opinions will help ok? thank you

JDM black tail lights and JDM black halo headlights
Change the whole dash to a carbon fiber look
Change stock door inserts to carbon fiber
Get a carbon fiber altis grill
    Get TRD 17' rims
    Drop it bout 2 inches
    paint calipers to red
Change the antenna to a stubby one from ebay
and eventually get a CF hood to go with the CF theme.

Do you guys thats a good plan? lemme kno what you think ok... open to any suggestions. im not planning to get a body kit. jus goin to drop it, i dont think it really needs one consider it has a factory body kit. reply back please. thank you again.

if ure theme is CF then i guess too much is never too much? haha they also have CF M3 style mirrors.

i got hotchkis springs n i love it till i started rubbign cuz i messed up w/ the rims i bougt. too wide. so i got ground control now. it goes something like this

Eibach/TRD - Least drop, closer to stock ride quality
Hotchkis - Medium drop...around 2 inches settled. prettyh stiff suspension, good for auto-x setup while not sacrificing too much ride quality
Tein H-tech - medium drop...more for comfort than hotchkis
Tein S-tech - lowest drop...pretty good ride too
Progress - same as tein h-tech

    correction

Tein S-Techs - lowest drop, stiff and rough ride. :)

    and...

Tein SS Coilovers - stiff ride depending on damper settings, damper adjustable, height adjustable.

your list sounds good, any thoughts of the TRD Strut Bar or TRD CAI?

but then hotchkis are stiffer than teins. true though the h-tech is softer than s-tech

then there's GC coilovers where u can have customized spring rate

Sounds like your headed towards ricey.

Wish more people just did subtle things to their cars instead of going overboard. There is such a thing as 'too much'.

Different strokes for different folks... I feel that having just a few modifications is fine if you just want a daily driver with some personal touches. if you plan to show your vehicle though, the only way to get attention is to "go overboard"... thats the only way to pull in trophies and get noticed.
