    DVD, NAVIGATION, COMPUTER, 7inch TFT! INSTALLED!!!!

    Ahhh I finally have it all done!!!
    System Setup
    Laptop 1Ghz 256 RAM , dvd player, etc etc.
    Navigation GPS
    plays movies mp3s videos.. etc etc
    I also have interent access anywhere in San Diego using Richocet.. FREE SERVICE FROM THE PLACE I WORK AT!!
    The switch I wired turns off everything and turns on everything too.. Looks like a nos switch heh.. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/349826/3

    how does everybody make those dash kits to fit the screen up tehre and the head unit down there?

    takes a looot of work.. lots of cutting for the bottom part. I used a dremel.. Then its all up to you how to mount the unit in there. I built some brackets to hold the deck in tight. Probably over did it since It was in there pretty securely just resting on the plastic piece.
    I was going to take lots of pics and do a write up but unforunately my bro borrowed my cam that weekend.. Anyways its not hard. I never did anything like this before and I just gave it a shot and all turned well.

    someone should really manufacture the lcd screen peice and hte head unit in that lower pocket dash kit.

    well no one is going to do that becuase everyone has differnet LCD screens so it wouldnt fit for hte top. As for the bottom din kit. That wouldnt work either because u have to cut out the dash. Its not something u can just take out. You just have to cut the back of the drawer out.

    i was just lookin at the pictures up there and how come u can see through ure speaker grills?

    you cant normally. That was a weird shot where i guess the angle and lighting made the speaker grille look transparent. Heh .... you can see thru yours too probably if you just get down at hte right angle. Cuz its just a bunch of holes so if u are at the right angle u can see thru it. It might be harder to see on a S since its black.

    how did u install the little nos looking buttom. i want to put a switch there but i dont have n e thing to drill into that little plastic peice

    You can find it at the dealer...I don't know how you call it in english but in french it's a "demi".

    I bought the switch at Frys for like 2 bucks.. and then used a regular drill to drill the plastic piece.. thats it!!

    I'm looking to buy the Alpine IVA-D300 instead of getting the 6 disk CD changer from Toyota... does anyone else have this since it also does Navigation?
