CANT GET BOLTS LOOSE FOR LOWERING SPRINGS

for anyone who has installed lowering springs on their corolla, after i took the wheels off, (in the front) i couldnt loosen or even budge the nuts to take out the strut tower to replace the spring...any ideas? i tried a butane torch to heat up the bolts, but that was a waste of money , and i tried putting a metal pipe around my ratchet, but that didnt budge either...lemme know if you know how to do it...email me at bodigus@hotmail.com thanks.

If you're referring to the two bolts/nuts that hold the strut body to the hub, they're just really tight. There's no special way to remove them, just need a bit of elbow grease and a lot of leverage. Try finding a longer pipe or get a breaker bar. I had the luxury of being able to use air tools when I did mine so getting them loose was no problem for me.

1/2 in drive 16" snap on wratchet did the trick for me. not a bolt that didnt pop right loose. i had an air ratchet sitting at the ready, but only used it for the spring compressors.
