I want to take responsibility for the website. Now methane you don't even visit the website anymore your just wasting your money give it to one of us :?

i'm assuming ur talkin bout the php connection issue from a couple days ago. the problem with that is if he does get another admin they still can do anything cuz that requires the SQL database to be reset so he'd have to give you his account passwords and stuff as well.

well the domain needs to move to another host and get a face lift. Along with modified sections for the 05's that now run by cable

movint to another host wont help. the way MySQL works is if there's too many connections it requres a flush. most cases u can write a script to do that automatically and have that not happen i run another site/forum with a friend and we've worked out a lot of bugs. the facelift is just basically the install of a new skin which shouldnt take long either and as for maintainance, it would be cool to have a second member with access to the admin panel for that.

Yeah... we do need a facelift.

Maybe upgrade the phpBB version while at it... I wouldn't mind the site going down for a little while if it only made it better.

there could be many reasons why he's not around. But it doesn't mean he doesn't care.
He stated in another thread not too long ago saying he was very busy. Meaning he's BUSY............... Being busy doesn't mean you don't care :roll:

I PM'ed him 3 months ago .........still no response. Life outside of here or not, it seems weird to completely ignore your site. Oh well, there are other sites to use anyway.

well looks like we really need to find methane then. we could finally get new mods too since they all took off too

methane has been busy - be patient

I'm one of methane's friend's outside of this website. As he said in another post he's been very busy - especially with work, trying to pay for the rolla. I called him today, so hopefully, he'll post or update soon. Please be patient as he works to generate funds that allow for this site to exist.

Damn I just saw the site is still running so had to post. Im sick of people who keep tryin to bash on Paul here and were on VVTI about not caring/being lazy etc etc etc... Paul has a life outside of here and is a very busy person who does alot of things not only for himself, but his community and church as well. Stop trying to criticize the guy, you should be grateful because of all we learnt here and what not. Not once has he put an ad banner or ever asked for a single penny out of anyones pocket. He is one of the most nicest, genuine and sincere people I have ever met. He is the type of person who will always be willing to help you no matter what.

So for all those who werent pricks, disregard my post.

For those who still insist on constanly nagging, please do us all a favor and FUCK OFF. haha

Very, truly sorry everyone!!!

We recently had about half our guys fired from work, and I've been working 55+ hour weeks. In addition to that, me and my friends have taken over the youth group of our church and I've been doing lessons on Tuesdays and Sundays, as well as teaching Sunday School on Sunday mornings. Not to mention the fact that there are a couple of youth in my group they need some extra attention outside of church..

This will be the first week in MONTHS that I will only work 40 hours.

Needless to say I haven't had much time for my computer, car, or anything else!

This site NEEDS new mods, no doubt... and I'd like to get a partner admin going too.. someone who I can meet in person preferably (and find out where you live in case you steal the site from us ).

If someone wants to start by stepping up and organizing some mod voting (I know I did this before... but a lot of things could have changed in the time that elasped since then). That would be a HUGE help.)


Ermm... ok that said.. I'm gonna go through the site and post a follow-up.
