Those Chinese are quiet and mindfull. Before you know what's happening they are already in action doing something you didn't expect.

Sounds like world war three. Hopefully I won't be living in Alaska when that goes down. We are a big target with all of our bases and our new missile defense system in Delta Junction at Ft. Greely. Eh, but who knows, maybe nuclear war will make life a little more interesting?

I dont see a nuclear war ever occuring. There are no winners in a nuclear war. The entire planet loses as a whole.

Any country that has the capabilities of nuclear war knows that others countries will retaliate....thus wiping eacother out.

And you should be happy to be in Alaska....its easy for you to go up into the hills! For us that live near DC, it sucks!

Nah, just that my wife and son would go up to her moms in Pennsylvania, and I know what route Id take to get up there as well. All backroads.
Our house in Frederick is right next to Fort Detrick, which in itself could be a huge target. And we arent too far from Camp David either.

last night a single engine airplane breached the camp david air space, and I watched two F-18s and a 2 MD state police choppers interrogate it from my deck...its was awesome. They escorted it and made it land at Frederick airport.

hehe... the thing thats so crappy about the chinese is their sheer numbers... they've used that uncontrollable breeding that goes on over there to their own advantage. and yes, it's doubtful they'd use nukes... if they did, it would be catastrophic on a global scale and what good is invading and taking over a country if you've destroyed it? thats like ' im gonna take your house and your property from you but in order to get you out first, i'm going to burn the entire plot to the ground ' hehe

yeah but 20 billion people having 1 child is still going to produce 10 billion more. :) (i know the numbers are not that high, but i was just using it as an example, lol)

Yeah, you're probably right about that. But, these governments still have them. There is still the possibility. Saddam lit all of those oil wells on fire, think of the damage that caused the earth. Basically what I'm saying is I agree that it's not likely but bad things do happen sometimes and it is possible. Just a little scary.

You're right. I'm happy about being in Alaska most of the time. I understand where you're coming from. I really didn't realize how different my life would be, moving from Baltimore city to Alaska. The air is clean, and so much more!
