    15" wheels?

Does anyone have 15" wheels on their car other than the stock steelies? Originally I was going to get 17" but now I'm thinking I should stick with 15" for a number of reasons:

    - save money on the initial purchase
    - save money on tire replacement
    - lighter wheel will allow me to have more "fun" with my suspension setup.

If anyone has pics or comments about 15" wheels, holler at me.

    I'm lookin' at:

    Enkei RS5
Rage Breaker (look like RS5's but cheaper)
    5 Ziegen FN10RC
    Konig Next
    Konig Helium

Basically any light weight, silver/grey/polished rim with a simply spoke design is cool with me. 8)

i have the stock 15" alloys... they definatley perform better than the motegi 17" rims i had since they were heavier but the 17" handle much better... try to find a light weight 17" rim is the best bet.

Maybe I'm being lame for not understanding but what exactly do you mean by performance?

With the 15" I would expect the wheel to rotate faster which would help acceleration (fun!). Is that what you mean?

Also for 17" the handling would be better cuz more tire surface on the ground right?

I have found some lightweight 17" but they are mad expensive. I'm sick of waiting to get rims so I was trying to find another solution. The konigs (and others) are pretty light, like 16lbs for 17"... but that means they are even lighter for 15", something like 10 or 11lbs if I remember correctly.

I need to replace my tires soon and if I got 15" wheels at some point I could use the same tires on the new wheels. I feel like I would be wasting money on 15" tires if I'm going to get new wheels. :?
