    H&R Race springs

Hey gang, I am now in texas until Dec, and I drove my car from Jacksonville N.C, now I can hear my front springs "knocking" very loudly over ervery bump. I went around looking fora place to get some struts, and a guy told me to just cut my Bump stops, and that should take care of the problem for now. The thing is, that the instructions that came with the H&R said not to cut the bumpstops? Do I just need to get new struts ASAP, or can I go ahead and cut the bumpstops and the replace the struts soon??? I really need a good reply ASAP, the knoocking is driving me nutzz, thanks

I have H&R and I don't have any knocking sound. As for the bumpstops, you don't need to cut them. I left them the way it was when I lowered my car. I'm not sure what the problem is, but probably associated with the installation/sitting position of the springs itself.

So you think that it may be that the springs are not sitting correctly, b/c I had a feeling about that before, but never checked them, and I only started getting the knocking after I drove to Texas from North Carolina
