    custom TRD blower

    Anyone see the new edition of Import Tuner? There is a S-GT (so he calls it) MR-S with a custom TRD supercharger. The car is nice looking and all, but no engine pics at all. I dont know about you guys but im calling bullshit! Why would you get a custom forced induction setup and not want to show it off in import tuner? boo :x

    maybe custom trd supercharger as in its for matrix or corolla then he put it in an mr-s. i forgot which way the engine faces on the mr-2. but w/o pics, yup it can be bs haha. but hey, tera patrick is in it :twisted:

    well.. i think it's BS.... the engine on the MR-S faces the same way our car does... the intake faces the front of the car, header faces the rear.. so there is no way he can put a TRD supercharger into the tiny space..

    Yeah, there is no room to put it there even if he did cut it down. There simply isn't room in that engine bay for the S/C :?

    Besides, why go custom Turd S/C when you can go turbo for the same price and probably put out 50 more WHP :?

    If indeed it was a turbo kit I'll believe it. I remember a while ago a company called Alpine Development or something of that nature was prototyping an MR-S turbo kit for TRD. The car could have one of the prototype kits, as I'm sure TRD dropped the idea once toyota decided to get rid of the spyder.

    calm dowm killer... yeah, after I startewd this thread I realized it was a turbo. I read what I thought was the S/C ... called bs and quit reading it. Read it a few days later and saw turbo. Why wouldnt you show pics of that though? Thats the main thing I was wondering?
