    Original rear strut position

I removed the two rear struts and took them apart and I didn't take note which strut came from the left or right side of the car.

I know the front struts are side specific but can you please tell me if there is any problem with changing the rear struts? Has anyone gone to the dealer to buy a new strut, did they ask which rear side it was for?

Also I didn't take note at the orientation of the very end of the spring which sits on the strut. I can see the end could be closest to the wheel or on the other side. Do I need to be careful with how the orientation of the rear struts?

All I can see is that you can put a rear strut into the left side and it will also go into the right side, you can also turn them around.

Is there a right way of putting in the rear struts? Thanks

thats actually incorrect, they cant be interchanged because of the 2 studs and one bolt that hold it on, they will only fit on the correct side due to bolt lining up with the welded in nut.
