Pregnant: took a test this morning

I am already a mommy of a 2 year old .... i am 28 years old, married for 3 years and I just found out this morning that I again pregnant.....

I had an abortion in January 2004 and I had serious pain afterwards , went back to the doctor and I had a 2nd fetus still in me that had died due to the abortion. I don't use abortion as a birth control by any means. I don't want you guys to think i am saying abortion is ok.... cause i don't think it is.

But i think this is going to definately alter my life, and especially my modding days.

But i thought i would let you guys know..... I want to have the baby for sure.. i hope my husband feels the same way.

time to quit smokin and drinking again.... here goes another year ...

supercharger not ever gonna happen now... I am bummed that I am going to have to give up my hobby... 2 kids in cali is notgoing to be easy..

    Have a good day guys.
    any words of wisdom?

Well I'm only 17, not a dad YET but hopefully someday in the future. Even though it might alter ur life and hobbies but kids are a gift from God and there are women around the world that would kill to have a baby but they can't due to other circumstances you know. Well other than that congrats and let us know how everything goes along the way (IF u choose to do so, if not that's cool too) but the best of wishes to you and ur family.

Congratulations Laura, I know that initial shock is rough but the reward comes later when you realize how much better it is to see your child grow to maturity rather than spend your money on some piece of garbage (all cars are essentially a piece of garbage as compared to human life)

also, I am pro choice but I, at the same time, understand the pain it puts a mother through to go through what you went through. An unexpected pregnancy is rough, and I pray everything pans out for you in the best way possible. Again, congratulations!

okay i have no kids right now and that i know of ( waiting of the results from my ex who has yet to tell me). here's the way i see it. You have your kids to keep you going eveyday up and down the house and thats a challenge. yeah you may not be able to mod your car but and least you can spend some of your money and time on your kids you will always be there to play and argue with you and from what i have seen with my friends and relatives its a good experience.Plus you already have a 2 yr old so you already have a headstart on how its going to be with the next one on the way.

congrats on the kid... i have a 10 month old niece that lives with me and i live having her around... gonna be sad when her dad gets home from afghanistan and my sister moves back out with her husband. anyways, modding doesn't have to end... just going to have to shop around for better deals on parts and do installs during naps.

Why do you have to give up your hobby for this child, but not for your first child?

Eh... I would get that figured out asap. Stuff like that can affect how you feel towwards your kid. I wouldn't want to make my kid feel unwanted, growing up guilty that he/she took something away from me. That kind of stuff can be really emotionally and psychologically damaging. Get over it before you end up hurting someone.

...but who am I to say? I'm not trying to be mean, it's just what life has taught me and I'm sharing it.
