Bass Delay?

    Bass Delay?

    I finally was able to install my sub this morning. I noticed when playing certain songs, the bass has a small delay after the beat hit on the song. Is it the tuning of the sub box that makes this happen? I tried playing with the cross over settings on the head unit and on the amp. It helped a little, but there is still a small delay.

    I have a pioneer DEH-P6300 head unit with a Phoenix Gold 180.2 Amp powering a JL Audio 8W0 sub in a ported box.
