    question about lowering springs installation

hey guys...i just got my tein h techs today, but the problem is wherever i went to ask the price of installation, people tell me it's about $200 which is more than what i paid for the springs itself! im just wondering how much everyone paid for installation of their springs.

It can range from $80 to $700 (at Toyota Dealer  ). You have to look around and you'll eventually find a shop that will have a good price.

Better yet, install it yourself. It is really not that hard, just time consuming if you dont have power/air tools. I did it myself and it was the first time I ever installed springs. The DIY is pretty straight forward. Save your money, or use it to buy tools.

yea i think you should just take a look at the DIY section and do them yourself , theres nothg better than getting to know your car a little better in my opinion

    So...

Any good resources for an spring install besides the stickies in this forum? Places that have pictorial guides and/or explicit descriptions of the steps might help me decide if my humble skills are up to the task.

The instructions on the diy section are straight forward its just a matter of loosening and tightening bolts according to the directions and pictures. It's just a little time consuming with the spring compressors.

I looked at the last post in that paticular sticky and see what you mean. I read the first two or three posts and though : this is way over my head!

    Thanks for focusing my attention.
