rear strut bar?

    rear strut bar?

    any of you guys interasted on getting the rear strut bar??? i'm thinking about getting 5 sets from Taiwan, they already had it made..

    it will be around $100 USD

    no.. i'm talking about REAR STRUT BAR...

    sway bar has been out for a long time.. but no body in america makes rear strut bar for the corollas..

    cant really see it, but looks like its installed inside the trunk huh
    it looks hard to install though
    does it require drilling?

    they told me you don't need to drill anything... just put on..


    i think they took the picture from the back seat... so the bottom of the picture is the back of the rear seats..

    You will need to cut your rear carpet/liner in order to slide this bar through. This bar is supposed to fit on top of your rear spring perches and goes through your trunk so you do lose trunk space. What brand is this??/

    is called SPR i think....

    as far as the cutting thing.... i don't know... but.. it does look like you need to cut the panel.. anyways.. i will make sure it will work with our car before i buy it..

    also he's going to take more pictures and send it to me.. i hope he can give me biger pictures.

    i just found a SPR rear strut bar picture for the Taiwan Civic... i believe the corolla one will be about the same..

    would having a rear strut bar making it too stiff in the rear? it looks really nice i'll think about it once u get better pictures and i have never heard of SPR

    of course, remember, this strut bar came from Taiwan... there are alot of companies that never sell stuff in the USA (or they sell the prodcut to other company that is in the US)

    i dunno bout yall but im kinda skeptical about whether this strut bar would even help reduce flex at all. i'd be interested to see a picture of the rear strut mounts without the back seat of course :roll:
