    Moving On...

Hey whats up guys. I just wanted to thank everyone from here and the older vvti.net forum for all your help that you gave me along the way. However, I've decided to buy a new car. It was a toss up between a 03-04 corolla or a 05 tc. I chose to do neither. This saturday I will be getting into a brand new 05 Hyundai Elantra 5-speed 4-door GLS in silver. I just love the way it drives and I think Hyundai made an exceptional come back. I would have never even thought to consider buying a hyundai EVER, but after test driving one and reading awesome reviews, that is what I've decided. So thanks again, and I will probably continue posting for the sake of nostalgia! peace.

thanks guys! i was expecting to be burnt for this in some way or another! Will definitly post pics. The elantras dont have toooo much more aftermarket support than the corolla, but I can wait to mod my biatch up! since its a 5speed and all, whats the general period of time that i should baby it? what do i NOT do in the inital beggining stages?

thanks guys. good to know the corolla love is still here... the rolla will definitly always be in my heart. it was my first car, and its taught me so much.

the sonata is definitly nice, just a little out of my price range, and to me its like getting a camry or avalon over a corolla. just not my slice of pie. i heard its fast as a mofo though!

congrats on the new purchase! Look, I know you'll think, I want to do this and that and this and that.. but just drive it and keep it clean. Especially since its a new car! Try not to kill the resale too quickly and just enjoy the car for what it Is for a while. Maybe wheels, but the wisest thing would be to do nothing for your first year or as long as you can hold out on modding it.

I stay around here too even though I dont drive the rolla anymore; I've just been around too long!
