    General Exterior Questions

Isa me again. I've always been a power > show kinda guy. But a few minor mods could never hurt. I've already cleared the headlights so the front looks sharp for being stock. My first main problem is...my car is brown. SandDrift or whatever. I want to paint it black but apparently that's expensive. Plus then I'd have to match the interior. So I was looking for opinions on exterior mod ideas. What kinda tail lights, possible rims, headlights, body kits, the usual. Again my car is the light beuge/crap color. So I was a little undecided on if I put anything on it that it will match. So any opinions or pics of shtuff on a brown rolla would be nice. As usual thanks in advance. :)

i've seen a 93-97 done up by a corolla owner on vvti.net i believe he sold his car now but carried out the beig gold color very well. his mods were basically accents of black such as CF/gumnetal style tails. Black housing Hedlights, Gunmetal rims with crhome lip and for interiour he had dark/ligh grey seatcovers, the one supershyguy off www.vvti.net sells. he pulled off the look quite nicely. u could probably go with something like that. buy the black housing head/tail lights off Ebay, add a dark black tint, some rims and u'll have a nice little accent theme going.

I was actually thinking of a black theme first off. But I didn't think it would look right. Then again compared to chrome or silver, black might look best. I'm actually trying to find a pic of shyguys car at the moment. So if anyone has any, post away please. But yeah black is probably my best option for a brown car. If I can get my greedy little hands on one of dem perdy plastic kit things, I mean Vuteq type A. (I'm from a redneck county in maryland, it rubs off on me  ) then might consider some black head/tail lights. But thanks for the input :D

Hmm. Just curious but if I did get that perdy Vuteq A kit. What should i do with the side moldings. Should i keep em black, take them off, of color them to match the car. I'll probably take the CE part off the back and shave off the CO in corolla hopefully without breaking anything. What ya think.

I'd paint the side moldings...they'll add a nice touch. As for getting rid of the co in "corolla"..hmm...it'd be different but I wouldn't do it on my own car.

Painting em sounds good. And I noticed that the corolla thing is 1 piece. So I'd have to cut through the plastic, without scratching or breaking anything, smooth it out, and maybe add some chrome paint to thr corner. Dunno but I might do it when I get bored like I did clearing out my headlights. :)
