    Brake Dust on Front Brakes

Last night when I got home I noticed a black sustance which appers to be brake dust. I just washed my car the day before and scrubbed the wheels (white rims, black dust) so I know they were clean the other day and there was no trace of dust on it. I took my car to rinse the dust off from excavation that's going on here, the wind carried a nice brown film over my car. I rinsed the car and cleaned the wheel with dust vigorously. I got back to work, about 3 mile drive and the wheel was once again covered in dust. I'm going to take wheel off when I get home and inspect it and I'll have some pics of it as well. Does anyone know what is causing this problem and how it could be fixed?

Get Black or dark colored wheels. I dont think ull be able to do anything about the dust, u could try not using ur brakes. But u could end up with something else besides dust on ur car.

Brake dust is not normal amount

It's only on passenger side and compared to driver side passenger side is 1000 times worse and it just started happening, its not a normal amount by no means. It's built up on my wheel after that short 3 mile trip that it's almost a small solid line around the rim which is not normal by any means. If you want to buy me dark rims I'll put them on. LOL

Hmm well I dunno, maybe u should get the drivers side brakes adjusted so both wheels will be covered in dust. If this really bothers u, go get it checked out. Its just the same as wearing white shoes, u know theyre gonna get dirty sooner or later.
