Dont waste you money on a cap yet. Try the magic 3 upgrade first
Here is waht you need for a 2 amp install. Ill try to explain it as clealy as possible.

I am going to assume that you have dont have any of the wiring yet

Everything you need for a 2 amp install is in here
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/

4 gauge amp kit (If it is a 4 channel amp)$36
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOLAK44
    (2 channel amp) $30
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOLAK4

    ANL Inline Fuse Holder $20
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=FH-20B

    Fused Distro Block $10
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=BC-1428

2 80 amp AGU Fuse for the distro block $2
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=AGU80

1-200amp ANL Fuse for the ANL fuse holder $6
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=ANL200

RCA cable $11 ***check to see how long you need. I am assuming that 12ft is long enough**
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KAR2-4M

About 10 ft of 8 gauge power wire
Since knukonceptz dont sell 8 gauge power wire anymore just get it off ebay **dont pay more than $1 per foot**

    2 8 gauge ring terminal
again get it off ebay Should look somthing like this
    http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=RT4516BL

    At the battery
Connect the power wire to the + ring terminal of the battery. About 10' from the battery cut the power wire and connect the ANL Inline Fuse holder to one end. Put the 200amp ANL fuse into the fuse holder and connect the power wire to the other end of the fuse holder.
Run the power cable down back to the trunk.

    At the trunk
cut off the end of the 4 guage power wire and connect the Fused distro block on the side that only has one input. Put both 80amp fuse into it. On the other end, connect the 8 gauge power wire into both input of the fused distro block, and form that to the amp.

Use the 8 gauge power wire to ground each amp to the trunk. Make sure the ground is good. You can use the same grounding spot for the same amp.

Connect the RCA wire from the amp to the HU. The RCA wire that came with the $30 or so amp kit has the REM wire built into it. Connect that one to the more powerful amp. Now to turn on the other amp get a thin wire and connect the REM input from the more powerful amp to the other amp so the other amp can turn on too.

I dont think I forgot anything. Try it without the cap and do the magic 3 upgrade. If you dont know what the magic 3 upgrade is, it is 3 wires add to your car to give more electric boost to your system. I havent dont it to a corolla so I wouldnt know how to do it on your car. But search www.sounddomain.com to find out.

you only have one preout or one set of preouts?
if you only have one preout, you'd have to wire everything in one big long split chain, and you would lose any hope of having stereo sound, much less balance and fade settings...

Why not order online? If you are going to buy it at the store the power wire will cost about $3 per foot for a 4 gauge wire. The 8 gauge wire will not do the job for 2 amp. If you still want to keep your 8 gauge wire there than you need to run another 8 gauge power wire to the battery.
If you want to run 2 power wire than you dont need to buy the fused distro block and the ANL inline fuse holder. Just trying to make it more simpler for you. But if you dont want to run 2 power wire up front I hope you change your mind on buying it online because the ANL fuse holder can cost up to $40, about $15 for the ANL fuse, and up to $50 for the fused distro at retail store.

If you only have one set of preout make sure that one of the amp has an output. use a RCA wire from the main amp (the one with the output) and connect it to the other amp.

If you are really serious about your car audio I would highly recommend you getting a deck with atlest 2 preout.
