Whats the best way to remove Corolla S Emblems off of trunk?

I have been looking at some cars lately without the name of there car and what type it is and I really like it. How would I get the Corolla S emblems off without having any after marks visible?

you take something flat like a credit card and just pull it off and if u have a heat gun or blow dryer to heat the gule then stick the credit under. it dosent leave any make just the glue which u can just rub off

You can first blow dry it to heat up the adhesive glue, then use a fishing line. Once you've taken it out, you can use Goo Gone to remove the left over residue.

Did it the exact way dvsj said and works perfect I took all the emblems off and put the Black Pearl T on the back and it looks great.

Thanks all I appreciate the help but I do have more questions for you. How do I know when it is heated up enough to put the fishing line there? Also what if I ever decide to put the emblems back on again what is the best thing to use? Thank you again.

the heating is just to soften the adhesive up a bit. you can try the fishing line or credit card at anytime to see if it is easy enough to pull off. i didnt heat mines up, just used the credit card technique and used goo gone and my fingernails to get the gunk off. to put the emblems back on if you wish to, you can go do an automotive parts store and buy emblem tape or any kind of double sided adhesive.

I went out today and removed the corolla emblem so far and man are my hand and arm killing me. The emblem came off without a problem but that goo that was left behind that was the problem. I tried bug and tar remover and it did nothing I had to basically scrape it off with my thumb nail and now there is no longer a long nail. Ouch. Right now I still have the toyota and the S on there do you think I should leave that on or take that off as well? Opinions please. Thanks.

I went looking for goo-gone at my local supermarket and they didnt have it and when I asked if they did I got a look like I was crazy. Someone had mentioned to me try CVS or target where did you purchase yours. Thanks again.

Maybe you can try some alcohol to take the glue stuff off. I heard you can do that. Y

I was going to give the same advice. I removed the Toyota from the trunk and put on the //TRD logo. It's pretty humid and hot here so I just got my finger nail behind it and it came right off... of course mine's an 05 so it hasn't been on there very long...lol

Also as a side note... I took off the door molding the same way... really gives the car a nice clean appearance without them.

    Happy Modding :D

I'm pretty sure you can get GooGone or GoofOff at Home Despot - in the paint section.

Do you have any pics of how the car looks without the door moldings?
Thanks everyone for the great advice. It's all off except for the S. I need to take some pics and post them. First I have to get a car wash.

    XRS...

The XRS doesn't look much more different from the S. It was designed more for performance.

The front end is slightly different (fog lights). I don't really notice much of a difference in appearance. Disc brakes all the way around, whereas the S only has front disc. XRS comes with a strut bar. Although, It doesn't look as sturdy as the TRD strut bar.
