Looks like it already comes complete with everything you need. It specified "plug and play".

That looks good, plus the orange reflective lens is already taken out for that clear chrome look. If I hadn't read this post, I would have never found out about them. It comes with both headlights only for $239? That is dirt cheap!! I didn't even hesitate to put a bid on it. Can't wait to install it.

Someone got some back when they 1st came out........only downside is it comes with h3?(foglights) I'm not sure what bulbs but they are not as bright @ night as are the stock ones and if you try to put HID's later on I belive it will melt the housing so other then that they look kewl.

I thought HID lights are suppose to run cooler than halogen bulbs.

If halogen doesn't melt it, how is HID going to melt it?

yeah, HIDs run at lower wattage and therefore cooler. It's if you buy those fakie blue tinted bulbs. Than you might melt housing. If you have real HIDs shouldn't be a problem...

    How did they work?

    Was it easy to install?

The bulbs seem a little longer than the OEM bulbs. Do they fit?

This is a really good deal, almost to good to be true.

They work great! I love them, I can post pics if you like.
Install was very easy. Basically just 'plug and play'
The bulbs are indeed a little bit longer but they do fit... no modifications necessary.

And yes they're a great deal.

Lemme know if you want to see pics

that kit looks like a good deal........I'd love to see some pics. I'm gonna look into getting one this summer. did you upgrade anything else, or does the stock battery and everything hold up?

Nothing else to upgrade, I did use a wiring harness to have a cleaner power source but it's not necessary. Stock battery should be fine. HIDs use less power than conventional halogens.

    Another picture:

The lights are much much much brighter than the stock lights. I don't think i can go back to regular halogens again.

Wow, that's bright. Do people get annoyed with those bright lights at night? I don't understand the psychology of it. People get annoyed at those bright high beams, but when it comes to HID's, they love it and could care less even though they are bright as hell.

I should start driving around town at night with my high beams on. If someone says something to me about it, I'll just say that's the way it is stock. I love those HID's though. I'll consider getting one after I finish my performance upgrades.

ive owned an hid kit in my headlamps...
    the glare kills... its terrible!

best bet is getting an HID retro.

    www.hidretro.com/page22.html

placing OEM hid projectors from various cars that come factory with hid and installing the projectors in the headlamps of our car or projector headlamps.

Um believe these bulbs run at 30watts and stock halogens run at 50watts? Can someone verify that for me...

Those lights are 5200K I wanted the brightest kit. When I first installed the lights, I did adjust them to aim a little bit higher but not too high cuz then people would start high beaming me.

I have a friends who adjust them really high and slowly adjust them down until people stop high beaming him. ::shrugs:: whatever works I spose

I don't know what that dual beam conversion kit is... he didn't have that option when i bought the lights. But yes they come w/ the ballasts, just like the ones pictured on the website

And no... they're not projector headlights... the pics are from stock headlights w/ HID bulbs. I'm planning on getting projector lenses but i'm really curious about the cut-off beam

i think the main topic in this thread was to discuss putting HID in the relatively new halo projector headlight housing, not putting HID in the stock housing. ..

ps..whoa, triple post  .hehe, never seen one quite like that before..all spread apart :D

Does anyone have the Ebay projector halo lamps? I was looking to purchase those but does the projector really work that well?? I have an HID kit in my car and was just curious if the projectors in the EBAY ones do that much better? Thanks in advance. OH and is it true about going to an h3? cause i have the 9006 HID kit...
