Need help on console lights, anyone

Ok, so I managed to break the left light on the console, right when you unscrew it.

I am wondering how can I replace this?

Also I tried using a blue sharpie and I tried using a blue silicone gel cap cover. The cover is too thick and makes the light way to dim.

I am thinking about using glass paint. The sharpie has a good light source but rubs off way to easily leaving little shades of the yellow light.

I am wondering if I should use LED's to do this? Or if they make blue bulbs in this size?

Anyways, anyone know where I can find the size of these bulbs? I am lost and I need to replace that console light.

A quick response would be greatly appreciated.

i have the same problem except for the breaking the light thing. i dont like the green lights in there so i took the covers off, and tried the sharpie method, it didnt work. the sharpie paint melted right off, it did last for about an hour and a half, but after that now its back to the bald bulb. i havent tried the other paint or the covers, but a friend did put six red leds in his lancer and it looks hot so i think thats the way to go. good luck with mod if u need help wit it just leave another post and i will walk you through it after i do mine.

I think LED's is the best way to go.

I want to do LED's but someone said I would have to soder them in? Know a place I could get the size of LED's I need for all the lights?

Also I want to change the little square color lights on the AC and inner AC and defrost to blue.

I think that would look bad. Know how to do that also?

I've talked to him on vvti.net/forums before his interior lights look sick.

I want to make my interior just like that, but the guy is slow to respond and I still haven't figured out what size lights for the A/C squares.

you dont need resistors because there are enough leds together. you can sorta find it cheaper if you know where to look and i wont say it again cause the seller thought i was screwin him over, but read the threads on this topic

tried that already. if you dont like to much light output then go ahead on that one. but the paint will crack easily b/c it too flexable.
