Grill with bad fit? **fixed..sort of..**

$#%!$%#!!!! I'm pissed cause my grill doesn't fit good at all.
I bought it a LONG time ago, but I never put it on until recently.
I got it painted at my dealership (wasn't cheap), and put it on my car for the first time and saw right away that it did not fit properly. I noticed a gap on one end, and one side goes in while the other side sticks out. My mesh is on nicely, its the grill that is deformed. Arrr...I'm jealous because everybody else seems to have such perfect fitting grills.
Has ANYBODY else had this problem?

yea i have the same problem with mine... i had to actually use screws on the bottom to hold the tabs in place cause they kept poping out and the top is a lil cruked too but i managed to twist it enought to make it look ok.

yea those never fit right for i thikn anybody. the middle screw is off center. it never really fit right.

the grill that does fit right is the vuteq m2 grill.

hehe thats why i sold my altis grill for the vuteq =)

I think there are different types of altis grills available in the market. Mine was sealed and had a sticker which said "Altis 01-02" with some asian language on it.

where did you buy yours nomes???I bought mine from ebay and it doesn't really fit either.

like some other posters my grill is just off center....everything else fit fine. the only thing about it being off center was that the extra space to unlatch my trunk was off as well. I just clipped a lil bit of the plastic real carefully so i could pop it. Other than that i've been happy with my grill!

I didn't have any problems with the Altis girll. It fit perfectly. The top center didn't line up to stock brackets, but that is no big deal. Everything is a good fit and snaps on tight.

Thanks nomes, undoing the middle clip worked well. Still not perfect like yours, but bah, good enough, not as pissed about it now. Thanks.

well u can try this cuz it worked 4 me, u knwo the bottom part the clipping thing in the middle. i drilled 2 holes through there and used those garbage bag ties to tie it to the car and i get no space so it looks like a perfect fit.

WHat?? the altis grille doesnt fit perfectly? i was about to get that at ebay. Where did u guys get the Vuteq grille? and how much was it? Well if i do get the altis grille, how would i make it fit?
