Engine TRD Supercharger ECU problems

    TRD Supercharger ECU problems

    Hello everyone. I have the Australian Corolla with the 1zzfe Engine.
    I am just wondering if there is a different between the 2004 and 2003 American Corollas in terms of the ECU?
    Cause i think i bought the TRD ECU for the 2004 model, and it will not wire up to my ECU.

    Anyone with diagrams of the ECU? for both models.?

    The ECU for the 04 has a different fuel map than the 03 ECU.............I'm really not sure that the TRD ECU is meant to fit the australian corolla, so that could be your problem right there. If that's the case you might want to look into a unichip or some other form of piggyback to replace the TRD unit.

    Thought that would happen.
    i am stuffed up now.
    I think they are only going to give me store credit if i return the TRD unit.
    Ahh there aren't that many modified corollas in Sydney to go upon.

    You should call TRD and ask them about that. I'm sure their parts are universal no matter where in the world you are.
